    e-Office

    Government of India, in recognition of the long-felt need for efficiency in government processes and service delivery mechanisms, had included eOffice as a core mission mode project (MMP) under the National eGovernance Plan (NeGP). This eOffice-MMP aims at significantly improving the operational efficiency of the Government through improvement in the workflow mechanisms and associated office procedure manuals.

    The eOffice or less-paper office initiative primarily involves workflow automation and knowledge management including document records management, setting and controlling the workflow in the organization, work allocation and tracking, maintaining audit trails, performance benchmarking and generating operational MIS.

    Current Status: The e-Office Application was launched by Hon’ble CM on 21st August, 2020 for SHQs & on 25th December, 2020 for DHQs. As per directions received from O/o Chief Secretary, Haryana vide letter no. IT Cell/CS Office/2020 dated: 17.08.2020, no physical file should be moved to the office of CM Office, CS Office & FD.

    As on 31-Dec-2025, more than 33000 employees of 133 Departments out of 232 & 22 Deputy Commissioners Offices including field offices and Boards & Corporations are working on e-Office and more than 11 Lacs e-File & more than 45 Lacs e-Receipts has been created & more than 01 Crore e-File & more than 04 Crore e-Receipts has been moved. Rest of the State Govt. Departments are under process and will be moved to e-Office at the earliest.

    Haryana PSUs e-Office Instance Status: As on 31-Dec-2025, more than 4800 employees of more than 37 PSUs including field offices are working on e-Office and more than 39 thousand e-File & more than 01 Lacs e-Receipts has been created & more than 4 Lac e File & more than 25 Lacs e-Receipts has been moved. Rest of the State Govt. PSUs are under process and will be moved to e-Office at the earliest.
